a.P.A.t.T. is something of a moving target... A restless, relentless take on 21st century musical expectations involving deconstruction, reconstruction and ever-evolving values... Re-defning notions of success and failure... The band with a background of performing with orchestras whilst being played on BBC Radio and touring with punks whilst being commissioned by music festivals to develop multi-media installations. Their records are layered collage pieces and the live shows stretch the format to the avant. Having been booked for 2017's annual Rock in Opposition (R.I.O.) and recently signed to Italian label Altrock, this promises to be a busy year for the act. They have toured and played with esteemed folk such as Daniel Johnston, Secret Chiefs 3, The Locust, R. Stevie Moore, Charles Hayward, Lightning Bolt, Icy Demons, Y.A.C.H.T., Health, Chromehoof, Acid Mothers Temple, Upsilon Acrux, and the Sun Ra Arkestra. a.P.A.t.T. has drawn comparisons with Devo, Metronomy, Frank Zappa, The Residents and Cardiacs, without actually sounding much like any of them.
